The motorhome has heating and water heating, most often gas or diesel. In some cases, the heating or hot water heater may also run on electricity.
Switching on the water heater
- Before you can turn on the drinking water heater, you need to fill the boiler with drinking water. Water is filled into the boiler by opening the tap to the ‘hot water’ position. The water pump starts and the water is filled. The boiler is fully filled when water starts to flow from the tap.
- If you have gas heating, make sure you have an open gas supply.
- Turn the water heater on at the heating control panel.
- You can turn the water heater off after showering.
- If the heating is on, the heating is provided automatically.
Switching on the heating
- The heating is set either digitally by selecting the desired temperature or manually by numbers from 1 to 5.
- If you have gas heating, make sure you have an open gas supply.
- If you have a motorhome with a Crash Sensor, the heating can also be switched on while you are driving.
- With some types of heater, electricity can also be used to heat water and heat the motorhome. The motorhome needs to be connected to 230V.
