Adle heating does not start
Firstly, this section of the manual provides troubleshooting guidance and solutions to address this problem, ensuring your Adle heating system operates efficiently and keeps you comfortable on your journeys.
The electrical connector on the heater is loose
- Check the electrical connectors and plug them in properly.
No voltage
- Check if the voltage is more than 11V.
Faulty fuse
- Check the 3A (230V) / 10A (12V) fuses and replace if necessary.
Red LED “Electronic control unit blocked” is lit
- Switch off the heater, wait approximately 30 seconds and switch it on again
- If none of the above advice has helped, contact motorhome Service.
The electric insert is not working
No 230V voltage
- Make sure the voltage is 230V
No 12V voltage
- Fuse blown. Check and replace the fuse.
Faulty relay in heater
- Check that the relay is switching on. The relay can be heard to click gently. If you do not hear any click, contact the motorhome service.
Overheating protection activated
- Press the RESET button on the heater. The heating can only be switched on again when it has cooled down to a temperature of 10-20 degrees Celsius. Make sure the heater is well ventilated before switching the heater back on.

Adle heating problems with the circulation pump
If the Adele heating circulation pump does not start, it may be due to a faulty electrical connection or a malfunctioning pump motor. In fact, it’s essential to troubleshoot and address the issue promptly to ensure proper heating system operation.
The switch on the room thermostat is off, in the “O” position
- Switch the switch to the “I” position
Temperature is set lower than the current room temperature
- This is not a fault of the circulator. If the temperature in the motorhome drops below the set temperature, the circulator will automatically switch back on.
The electrical connector is loose
- Check the electrical connectors on the circulation pump and plug them in properly.
No voltage
- Check that the available voltage is 12V.
- If none of the above advice has helped, contact the motorhome service.
