If you do not have a Crash Sensor fitted to the gas cylinders in your motorhome, all gas safety valves must be closed when driving. The valves are located on the gas cylinders and also inside the motorhome most commonly in the kitchen area. Each gas appliance has its own valve.
If you have a crash sensor and the gas has accidentally stopped working, make sure the sensor is not blocked by pressing the green button on the crash sensor. The crash sensor is located right next to the gas cylinders.
Opening the gas supply
- Open the valve on the gas cylinder counterclockwise. The gas cylinders can be accessed through the service door on the side of the motorhome or from the motorhome garage.
- Open the valves of all gas appliances inside the motorhome. The valves are most often under the sink or in the stove area. The valves are usually red or gray in color.
Gas inlet closure
- Close all valves to all gas appliances inside the motorhome. The valves are most often under the sink or in the stove area.
- Close the valve on the gas cylinder in a clockwise direction. Gas cylinders can be accessed through the service door on the side of the motorhome or from the motorhome garage.
